You can embed Calendar directly onto your website by using our embed options. This gives your site visitors the option to schedule with you without ever leaving the page. Fewer clicks and steps means they will more likely enjoy their customer experience with you.
Here are your embed options if you use WordPress as your website platform.
First, let's start the embed process by determining what version of WordPress your website uses. Log in to your WordPress admin site.
From there, go to the admin dashboard of your account. Put your cursor over the W logo in the top left corner of the page. Those of you that are Wordpress.org users will see a drop-down menu appear with options one of which shows WordPress.org. If no menu appears, then your account is on Wordpress.com.
Whether you have an .org or a .com platform for your WordPress website, you should have a scheduling page. If not, you will want to add this page to your website because this is the best place to embed Calendar.
Next, if you have a WordPress.com site, here is how you embed Calendar. You need to add a hyperlink to your scheduling page and invite visitors to schedule with you by adding some content that explains how to use the embedded Calendar to select and book your appointment.
While editing a page, highlight applicable text and click the Insert/edit link button in the toolbar. Paste the URL to your personal scheduling page or another page for events or the company. You can do the same thing with an image versus text by selecting the image and following the same steps you would use to link text.
Alternatively, if you have a WordPress.org site, this is how you embed Calendar. Wordpress.org supports Calendar's different embed options that include inline, pop-widget, and pop-up text. Just note that you if you use a particular theme on your website, it may affect the appearance of the embed code. You may have to try a few options to ensure the embed code works.
To embed Calendar on a single page of your website, go to Pages in your WordPress admin site. Select your page, such as a scheduling page. Once you select the page you want to edit and embed the Calendar, click the + sign to add a new block to the page.
Choose a Custom HTML from the Formatting drop-down list. Then, paste the embed code that you copied from your Calendar account. Finally, choose Preview Changes to ensure the embedded code works with your website's theme before selecting Update to save.
To apply the pop-up widget embed across your entire site, start by going to the Appearance section and open the Editor. Locate the Theme Files sidebar to the right of the page and scroll until you get to theTheme Footer. Locate the </body> tag at the bottom of the footer and paste the pop-up widget code that you copied from your Calendar account and place it just above it.
