As an alternative to building a routing form from scratch, you can import already configured fields from a CSV import. This is very helpful if you are importing fields from another system.
Prerequisites
- Routing is only available on paid plans.
- You must be an admin or owner to create a routing form.
Steps
- From your Workspace, select Routing from the top menu bar (you must be an admin or owner).
- In the Admin left menu, select Routing.
In the Import From section, select 'Import from File.'
- In the pop-up select CSV.
- Note: you can download a sample file to ensure a proper CSV format.
- Make sure to the required fields at a minimum.
- Drag your CSV file to the import box.
Click 'Import.'
- Edit the form.
- Enter a name for your new Routing Form (this is a required field). The name is used internally to identify the form and not shown to schedulers.
- Predefined fields will already be created on the form from the CSV import.
- Feel free to customize the form further—you can change or delete existing fields or add new fields.
- Preview your form by selecting the 'Preview Form' button.
- The final step is to define routes (see below).
Define Routes
Routes are rules to redirect users based on the form inputs.
- Scroll back to the top and select the 'Routes' tab.
- select 'Add Route.'
- Fill out the settings for your condition by selecting a question, qualifier, and answer.
- To add another qualifier and answer for a condition, select 'Add Condition.'
- Once your conditions are complete, select an Action (destination) from the list:
- Scheduling Event: Route qualified visitors to one of your scheduling events.
- Show Message: Route disqualified visitors to a message.
- Redirect to URL: Route visitors to any URL.
- When you're finished, select Save and Close.
- Share Link
- Click 'Share Link'
- Copy the URL
- Share the link with anyone you wish to use your new routing form.
