Overview:
In our mobile application, we give you the flexibility to import all your contacts or select only the ones you want. You can also link your contacts so their information stays updated when changes are made on your phone. Our mobile Contacts functionality works just like the web version, giving you a consistent experience across both platforms.
Reason:
We believe in giving our customers choices. Not everyone wants to import hundreds of contacts they may never use, so we designed this feature to put you in control. You decide which contacts to import, which ones to link for ongoing updates, and when to disconnect them. This keeps your contacts organized, relevant, and free of unnecessary clutter.
Steps:
- Open the menu
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner, then tap Manage Account to open Settings.
- Tap import contacts from phone
In Settings, scroll to the Contacts section and tap Import Contacts from Phone.
Give Calendar access to your contacts
If you haven't allowed access yet, you'll see a message that Calendar needs permission. Tap Open Settings.
Your iPhone's Settings app opens to the Calendar App page. Tap Contacts.
Choose your access
Under Contacts Access, change the setting from None to Full Access.
Tip: Prefer to share only some contacts? Choose Limited Access and pick the contacts you want Calendar to see.
- Select and import your contacts
Return to the Calendar app (tap ◀ Calendar App in the top-left corner, or switch back to the app). You'll see a list of contacts found on your phone.
If you switch back to app and not in same image - do step 1 to 3 again
Tick the box next to each contact you want, or tap Select All.
Tap Import Selected.
Then they will be in your contacts section and will auto-sync to the web product.
