Calendars new meeting poll feature allows users to create a meeting poll link that they can send to anyone, in their organization or not, to vote on times for the meeting to occur.
This is a great tool to use when needing to create a group meeting with multiple parties involved. All you have to do is fill out the meeting details like title and location, select some possible time options for the meeting for people to vote on, press create meeting poll, and send the link to whoever is attending the meeting. Everyone can then vote on the time that works best for them, you will be able to see and monitor the voting in your calendar scheduling dashboard. Once the voting is done you can then finalize and create the event after everyone has voted to get it on everyone's calendar.
As you can see in the screenshot below the first step is to select "Create Meeting Poll". This is located on the main scheduling screen of your workspace.
You then fill out all of the details of the meeting like who the hosts are, the location of the meeting, and how long the meeting will be. You then simply pick as many time options as you like for people to vote on and select "Create Meeting Poll".
You now have the meeting poll link that you can send to everyone who will be attending the meeting to vote on the time they like. You can also now see the meeting poll on your scheduling screen and see that it is in the "Polling" phase. You can click on it at anytime to see who has voted and what the top voted time is. Once everyone has vote you can select "Create Event" to schedule it and put it on everyones calendar. You will notice that on the scheduling screen the meeting poll has switched from "Polling" to "Scheduled".
