Overview
All your calendars live in one place: Manage Calendars. From there you can create Native Calendars and connect as many Google, Office 365, Exchange Server and iCloud accounts as you need.
To open Manage Calendars, use either path:
- Click Manage Calendars in the toolbar at the top of the calendar view.
- Or go to Settings → User Settings → Manage Calendars.
Each calendar type has its own section with an ADD + button. Connected accounts appear as cards showing the account email, its color and how many calendars it holds. Click a card to see or manage its calendars.
Every calendar type is available on all plans.
| Calendar type | Supports |
|---|---|
| Native Calendar | Create calendars, share read/write |
| Google Calendars | Gmail, G Suite — multiple accounts |
| Office 365 Calendars | Office 365, Outlook.com, Live.com, Hotmail, Exchange Online — multiple accounts |
| Exchange Server Calendars | Exchange Server 2013, 2016, 2019 |
| iCloud Calendars | Apple's default calendar |
Native Calendars
Native Calendars are created and stored right inside Calendar - no outside account needed. You can create several and share each one with read or read/write access.
Create a Native Calendar
- Open Manage Calendars.
- Next to Native Calendar, click ADD +.
- Give the calendar a name and pick a color.
- Save. It now appears under your Native Calendar card.
Share a Native Calendar
- Click your Native Calendar card and select the calendar to share.
- Add the people you want to share with by email.
- Choose their access:
- Read — they can see events but not change them.
- Read/Write — they can add, edit and delete events.
- Save to send the invite.
Google Calendars
Connect as many Google accounts as you like — personal Gmail and work G Suite (Google Workspace) accounts side by side.
- Open Manage Calendars.
- Next to Google Calendars, click ADD +.
- Sign in to the Google account you want to connect.
- Review and allow the requested calendar permissions.
- You return to Manage Calendars, where the account appears as a new card.
- Repeat for each additional Google account.
The sync icon next to an account shows it is syncing. Click the card to choose which of that account's calendars to show.
Microsoft (Office 365) Calendars
Connect multiple Microsoft accounts, including Office 365, Outlook.com, Live.com, Hotmail and Exchange Online.
- Open Manage Calendars.
- Next to Office 365 Calendars, click ADD +.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Accept the requested calendar permissions. Work accounts may need IT admin approval.
- The account appears as a new card with all its calendars.
- Repeat for each additional Microsoft account.
Exchange Server Calendars
For on-premises Exchange Server 2013, 2016 or 2019. (Exchange Online belongs under Office 365 instead.)
- Open Manage Calendars.
- Next to Exchange Server Calendars, click ADD +.
- Enter your Exchange email address and password.
- If prompted, enter your server URL and username (your IT team can provide these).
- Save. The account appears as a new card with its calendars.
iCloud Calendars
Connecting iCloud takes two parts: create an app-specific password in your Apple Account, then use it in Calendar.
Part 1 — Create an app-specific password
- Go to account.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Open Sign-In and Security, then App-Specific Passwords.
- Click Generate an app-specific password (or +).
- Name it something you'll recognize, like "Calendar".
- Copy the password shown — Apple only displays it once.
Two-factor authentication must be on for your Apple Account to create app-specific passwords.
Part 2 — Connect in Calendar
- Open Manage Calendars.
- Next to iCloud Calendars, click ADD +.
- Enter your Apple Account email.
- Paste the app-specific password — not your regular Apple password.
- Save. Your iCloud calendars appear as a new card.
Tips
- Assign colors to each account so you can tell calendars apart at a glance.
- iCloud won't connect? Make sure you used the app-specific password, not your Apple password. Generate a new one if unsure.
- Microsoft work account blocked? Your IT admin may need to approve the Calendar app.
